Dukes Move into National Rankings:  JMU is ranked 19th in the IWLCA Top 20 Coaches Poll this week, after receiving votes the previous three weeks.  The Dukes are ranked 17th by Inside Lacrosse after receiving votes in that poll last week.

Tough Stretch Coming to a Close:
This week JMU concludes a stretch in which the Dukes will have faced four top-11 teams over a span of five games.  That included games on the road at then-seventh-ranked Penn State (13-12 loss) and then-number 11 Loyola (9-8 overtime win) and upcoming matches vs. number nine Virginia at home and at top-ranked Maryland.

Healy Honored by CAA:
Sophomore goalkeeper Schylar Healy was named CAA Player of the Week for the week ending March 17.
She began the week by making a career-high 15 saves and controlling a game-high five ground balls in the Dukes' 13-12 win at Richmond on March 13.
Then Healy made eight stops, including one on a shot with one second left in overtime, to preserve a 9-8 victory at 11th-ranked Loyola on March 16.  Healy also had three ground balls in that match.

Ancarrow, Healy Lead CAA Stats:  Redshirt senior attacker Casey Ancarrow continues to lead the CAA in goals average (3.67) and points average (4.33).  She ranks fifth in the NCAA in goals average.
Goalkeeper Schylar Healy leads the CAA in saves (9.5 avg.) and save percentage (.514) and ranks second in goals-against average (8.85).  She's sixth in saves average and seventh in saves percentage among NCAA Division I goalies.

Ancarrow Continues to Move Up:  With seven goals and two assists in last week's wins over Richmond and Loyola, Casey Ancarrow now has career totals of 140 goals, 52 assists and 192 points.  She moved from ninth to sixth on JMU's career goals list and from tied 11th to ninth on the career points list.
