HARRISONBURG, Va. - James Madison men's golfer Poom Pattaropong qualified and played in the 2013 Singha E San Open, a co-sanctioned professional Singha All-Thailand/PGA Asian Tour event this week.

Pattaropong qualified for the tournament by shooting a 1-under 71 at the qualifier on Monday at the Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club, a round that included three birdies and two bogeys. Playing at the same course for the tournament, he posted back-to-back rounds of 3-over 75 to finish at 6-over 150 in a tie for 106th and missing the cut by six shots.
