As a junior:

  • Ranked fifth in the CAA with 21 stolen bases
  • During the 30-game CAA league slate, ranked second with 13 steals, fourth with 148 plate appearances and first with 134 at bats
  • Recorded the ninth-longest hitting streak in JMU history at 21 games
  • Ranked 64th in NCAA Division I in steals per game (0.4) and 75th in total steals (21)
  • Made JMU debut with back-to-back two-hit games vs. Coastal and Boston College
  • Three hits with a double, two runs and an RBI in Bucknell opener
  • Two hits with a steal and a run scored vs. Lafayette
  • Single, triple, steal, run and an RBI vs. Mount St. Mary's
  • Season-best game to open GSU series going 4-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI's and three steals, all season highs
  • Added two hits and a steal each in Saturday's and Sunday's games against Georgia State to make it four straight games with multiple hits
  • Fifth straight multiple-hit game giong 2-for-3 with a walk and steal vs. Virginia Tech
  • Went 7-for-13 in Delaware series with four runs and two RBI's to extend hitting streak to 10 games and multiple hits to eight games
  • Ninth straight multiple-hit game with singles in the first and ninth inning at Virginia
  • Ran multiple-hit streak to 10 games in NU opener while running his overall hitting streak to 14 games through the weekend series
  • Hit safely once in each game of the ODU series to run streak to 18 games
  • Went 1 for 2 against Maryland, extending his hitting streak to 19 games
  • Extended hit streak to 21 games before going 0-for-3 with a walk, hit by pitch and sac bunt in Hofstra finale
  • Delivered the game-winning single to score Cole McInturff in top of the 13th inning at VMI
  • Game-winning three-run home run, first at JMU, to give Dukes a walk-off win over VCU in series opener, capping a five-run ninth inning
  • Closed the season with three hits and a hit by pitch in a loss at Towson
  • Named to the Coastal Plains League All-Star Team after playing for Wilmington Sharks in summer 2012.  Started 50 games and ranked second on team with .263 average, including team highs of 32 runs, 36 walks (second in the league) and a .397 on-base percentage to go along with 19 steals.

Before JMU:

  • Began collegiate career playing for head coach Sam Carel and Jefferson College (Hillsboro, Missouri)
  • Vikings went 43-20 while winning the Region XVI championship, the South Central district championship and advancing to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division I World Series for the first time in nine years
  • Made a team-best 61 starts for Jefferson as a sophomore while hitting .360 (73-203) with 52 runs, 14 doubles, five triples, 43 RBIs and 19 walks
  • MCCAC First Team All-Conference and NJCAA District 16 Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore
  • Hit .374 (61-163) as a freshman with six doubles, three triples, 38 runs scored, 32 RBIs and 13 steals.
  • Had a strong finish to his first season, hitting .581 (18-31) down the stretch to climb from sixth to second in the batting order
  • Vikings went 40-16 overall and 21-1 in the Missouri Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC) in 2010
  • Earned honorable mention All-Conference in the MCCAC as a freshman
  • Also played four years of basketball in high school
  • Senior year Glendale lost to Word of God Christian Academy out of North Carolina by three points. Goss matched up with current NBA player John Wall in the game with each scoring 24 points.
  • Honored as a A+ Scholarship Recipient at Jefferson
  • Played for Howard Bell and Glendale High School for his scholastic career
  • Two-time All-Conference selection in high school and named to the All-Ozarks Team
  • Goss played the 2011 summer with the Harrisonburg Turks in the Valley League. He hit .286 with three doubles, two triples and 13 stolen bases.
