The JMU Convocation Center has been the home to JMU Men's and Women's Basketball since its completion in 1982. The venue also hosts concerts, conventions and other large meetings. With a capacity for 7,156, the Convo was the first structure to be built across Interstate 81 from the original campus.

Men's Basketball reserved parking lots (A, B, C, D, E, F) are adjacent to the Convocation Center with limited general parking availability. Additional men's basketball parking is available at Lot C12 at the Festival Conference and Student Center with free shuttle service from the C12 bus shelter beginning 60 minutes prior to tip.
Women's Basketball reserved parking (R Lot) is next to the Convocation Center with ample general parking available. Select women's basketball dates may also offer shuttle service.
Reserved Lots - Men's Basketball (D, C, B, E) & Women's Basketball (R, C, D)
From North:
- Interstate 81 South, take Exit 245, Port Republic Road.
- Turn left onto Port Republic Road.
- At the second stoplight, turn left onto Forest Hill Road.
- At the first stop sign, turn left onto University Blvd.
- Reserved lots will begin at the top of the hill on your left in this order: D, C, B/E.
- Handicapped parking with appropriate hang-tag will be available by entering the B/E entrance.
From South:
- Interstate 81 North, take Exit 245, Port Republic Road.
- Turn right off the exit ramp onto Port Republic Road.
- At the first stoplight, turn left onto Forest Hill Road.
- At the first stop sign, turn left onto University Blvd.
- Reserved lots will begin at the top of the hill on your left in this order: D, C, B/E.
- Handicapped parking with appropriate hang-tag will be available by entering the B/E entrance.

From North:
- Interstate 81 South, take Exit 247 A, Port Republic Road.
- Turn left onto Port Republic Road.
- At the third stoplight, turn right onto University Blvd.
- Travel through four stoplights -- the third at the intersection of University Blvd. and Reservoir Street.
- Continue on University Blvd. past Sheetz and Arboretum.
- Basketball Parking Lots will be on your right in the following order: General Parking, Reserved Lot F, Reserved Lot A.
- Handicapped parking with appropriate hang-tag will be available by entering the B/E entrance.
From South:
- Interstate 81 North, take Exit 247 A, Route 33 East/East Market Street.
- At the second stoplight, turn right onto University Blvd.
- Travel through four stoplights -- the third at the intersection of University Blvd. and Reservoir Street.
- Continue on University Blvd. past Sheetz and the Arboretum.
- Basketball Parking Lots will be on your right in the following order: General Parking, Reserved Lot F, Reserved Lot A.
- Handicapped parking with appropriate hang-tag will be available by entering the B/E entrance.
Festival Conference & Student Center Parking/Shuttle Bus
- Interstate 81 North or South, take Exit 247 A, Route 33 East/East Market Street.
- Merge onto 33 East.
- At the first stoplight, turn right onto Burgess Road.
- At the second stoplight, turn right onto Evelyn Byrd.
- At the intersection of Evelyn Byrd and Reservoir, proceed straight into JMU.
- Festival Conference & Student Center parking will be the first lot on your right.
- The shuttle begins 60 minutes prior to tip-off.
