Before JMU:

• Finished fourth at Virginia state tournament in the 100 butterfly and sixth in the 200 freestyle relay as a senior
• Helped lead Osbourn Park to a second-place finish in the state in 2012
• Two-time state meet qualifier
• Also competed in gymnastics, winning states as a freshman

• Father, Michael, was a swimmer at JMU, winning team MVP three times
