HARRISONBURG, Va., Jan. 25, 2013 - James Madison University's men's basketball coaches will join coaches across the country by wearing sneakers at Saturday's game against Old Dominion as a part of the 10th annual Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers weekend.

Suits and Sneakers is an event run by the Coaches vs. Cancer program in partnership with the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. Coaches nationwide will be sporting sneakers with their suits during games to help spread cancer awareness.

"Cancer affects a lot of people and anything we can do to make people aware and put an end to the deadly disease is great," said JMU associate head coach Rob O'Driscoll, who will join head coach Matt Brady and the rest of the staff in sporting white sneakers with their black suits.

Support the Dukes on Saturday at 4 p.m. at the Convocation Center as they take on Old Dominion and spread cancer awareness. Fans can join the efforts by texting the word "COACH" to 20222 to make a $5 donation to the American Cancer Society.  All donations between Jan. 21 and April 9 will be entered for a chance to win exclusive basketball experiences or gear.

Learn more about the event by visiting CoachesvsCancer.org, liking Coaches vs. Cancer on Facebook or following @CoachesvCancer on Twitter.
