Freshman and sophomore members of the James Madison men's basketball team held a mini-clinic on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Broadway High School.  The clinic was for players in the first through sixth grades that play for the Broadway Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) division.

The clinic lasted about two hours and consisted of numerous shooting and dribbling drills, as well as layup and shooting lines.  A more competitive game called "king of the court" was also played where the players involved focused primarily on ball handling.  The Broadway players were also shown and taught a play that the Dukes run themselves, and they were able to break down into smaller groups and learn how to properly execute the play.

At the end of the clinic, the Broadway players and the Dukes participated in a large game of knock-out, followed by the Dukes putting on a dunk expo for the players.

Sophomore guard Arman Marks said that, "The event was enjoyable.  I got a lot out of it and would be more than happy to do it again."
