BLACKSBURG, Va. - Sophomore Taylor Pinchoff (Sylvan Lake, Mich./West Bloomfield) and senior Michelle Nguyen (Springfield, Va./South County) won their first doubles match of the weekend to advance to the round-of-32 on Saturday in the ITA Atlantic Regionals.
Pinchoff and Nguyen took on Howard University's Gabrielle Moxey and Umarah Mughee in the doubles round-of-64 Friday afternoon. The duo won 8-3 to give James Madison its first victory of the weekend.
Doubles competition will continue Saturday morning in Blacksburg, Va., at 10 a.m. Singles competition will begin Saturday afternoon.
