Erin joined the staff at JMU in the summer of 2011.  At JMU her primary responsibility will be serving as the head athletic trainer for the Women's Basketball program.  In addition, Erin is an Approved Clinical Instructor within the Athletic Training Education Program and provides clinical education and evaluation for the undergraduate athletic training students.

Prior to coming to JMU, Erin spent 2 years working as an assistant athletic trainer at Florida State University serving in a variety of capacities.  She was the Women's Basketball athletic trainer for the 2010-2011 season. 

Erin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida on May 2006. She completed her Master's degree from Virginia Tech in May 2007 and her PhD from Virginia Tech in May 2009.  While at Virginia Tech Erin was clinically responsible for the care to the M/W Swimming and Diving program, the Women's Lacrosse program, and Football. 

Erin is a nationally certified athletic trainer by the Board of Certification and is a licensed athletic trainer by the Virginia Board of Medicine.  She also holds advanced certification in the Graston Technique soft tissue mobilization.
