Courtesy:JMUSports.com Release:10/11/2012

New York, N.Y., Oct. 11, 2012 - James Madison's January 12 home game against Drexel will be part of an 18-game national package as Colonial Athletic Association men's basketball will be featured on NBC Sports Network for the first time during the 2012-13 season.

The package will tip off with a non-conference game with George Mason hosting Northern Iowa on Dec. 8 and will conclude with both the semifinals and championship game of the 2013 CAA Championship airing on the national network.

JMU's Jan. 12 game against Drexel will be a 4 p.m. start time.  It will be the first nationally-televised game from the Convocation Center since ESPNU carried games against George Mason and Old Dominion during the 2010-11 season.  The Mason game was the first national telecast of a home JMU contest since 1994.

The entire 2012-13 CAA Television schedule, once again expected to feature approximately 100 telecasts, will be announced at CAA Basketball Media Day in Arlington, Va. on Tuesday, October 16.

This year, NBC Sports Network will televise more than 50 college basketball games, the most in the network's history. Some of the conferences featured will include the Atlantic 10, Colonial Athletic Association, Ivy League and Mountain West. In addition, NBC Sports Network will also be the television home of the Carrier Classic and Navy and Marine Classic basketball tournaments. A complete list of the 2012-13 NBC Sports Network college basketball schedule is forthcoming.
