HARRISONBURG, Va. - This weekend concluded Double the Pride Month for the JMU Duke Club. August witnessed 91 members join the Duke Club who were not members in 2011. These donors contributed a collective $25,465 which will grow support for student-athlete scholarships and the general operating fund.
"This is our second year having a Double the Pride push," said Director of the Annual Fund, Brian Powell. "We think it is something that has momentum and will become more recognizable every year. The concept is simple - recruit one new member and you can win prizes while helping support our cause."
Every new member and every current donor who referred a new member were entered into this year's raffle. The winners are listed below:
