Radio
WSVA is the originating station for all broadcasts of JMU football and men's basketball.  WSVA provides coverage throughout the Shenandoah Valley region and into portions of West Virginia.  Sister station WHBG 1360-AM, also an ESPN programming affiliate, is the home to JMU women's broadcasts, covering the Harrisonburg area.  The JMU nTelos Sports Radio network reaches all major markets of Virginia and serves as the 3rd largest radio network in the state.

The stations in Harrisonburg, Hampton Roads, and Roanoke combine to host our weekly Coaches Show. The Coaches Show is broadcast live on Thursday nights and features Football Coach Mickey Matthews, Men's Basketball Coach Matt Brady, and Women's Basketball Coach Kenny Brooks.

The JMU Athletics website was re-designed and re-launched in August 2011 to great reviews. The outsourcing of the website to national website host NeuLion, one of the national leaders in collegiate websites and professional and college sports video streaming, shows JMU Athletics' commitment to this vital tool as a fan interactive device and window for our athletic department.

 

This new partnership will provide many new advertising opportunities.  We will have the ability to sponsor our audio streams, future live webcasts of games, and other new developments. This is a new growing area, and the opportunities for advertisers are expanding more quickly than ever.

JMU has an ever growing social media following with over 28,000 Facebook fans and over 3,000 followers on Twitter.
MadiZONE
MadiZONE, housed within JMUSports.com, is the official audio and video player of the James Madison University Dukes.  This overall streaming platform for JMU Athletics brings worldwide access to all JMU fans and alumni with a simple click of a mouse.  Offers include the following:

JMVU
Requests beyond general announcements and listings require purchase through the Director of Corporate Partners at 540-568-5069.  As the largest videoboard in FCS Football, JMVU serves fans well at each live event in Bridgeforth Stadium.  Sponsor opportunities include:

Other
JMU Sports provides supporting fans with a weekly email, the JMU Game Plan.  The Game Plan features top stories, sports updates, and upcoming events.  Four digital marquees post upcoming events at JMU.  DLP TV viewable signage is located in the Convocation Center.
