Home Ticket Information: * CAA Standings: Northeastern (7-1-3, 24 points) finished first in the final CAA standings, earning the top seed and the right to host the CAA Tournament. The Huskies beat Hofstra 4-0 in the regular-season finale on Oct. 31 to claim first place by a single point. Hofstra (7-2-2, 23 points) finished second in the league standings, followed by North Carolina Wilmington (7-3-1, 22 points) in third place. JMU and George Mason tied for fourth with identical 6-3-2 records and 20 points. To qualify for the postseason tournament, the Dukes won the tie-breaker with George Mason with their regular-season win over the Patriots.
* Scouting Northeastern:Northeastern accumulated a 7-1-3 record in the CAA to finish first in the league standings. The Huskies come into the CAA Tournament on a four-game winning streak and have not lost a game since Oct. 4, a span of seven matches (5-0-2 record). Northeastern is undefeated at home this year, going 7-0-2 at Parsons Field, the site of the CAA Tournament. The Huskies own regular-season conference wins over Drexel (4-1), Towson (2-0), William and Mary (4-3), North Carolina Wilmington (2-1), JMU (2-1), Virginia Commonwealth (3-1) and Hofstra (4-0), as well as ties with Delaware (1-1), Old Dominion (1-1) and Georgia State (1-1). The Huskies' only loss came at George Mason (4-1). Northeastern is led by freshman forward Devin Petta, whose 14 goals and 35 points both lead the CAA this year. Petta broke the Northeastern single-season scoring record that had stood for 13 years.
* The Series with Northeastern: The all-time series between Northeastern and JMU is tied 3-3. The Huskies defeated JMU 2-1 in Brookline earlier this year and beat JMU 2-1 in the CAA Tournament last year in Williamsburg, Va. JMU's last victory over Northeastern was last year's 2-1 regular-season victory in Harrisonburg.
* Double-Digit Victories: JMU has double-digit wins for the 19th time in the 20-year history of the soccer program. Only the 2003 team (7-10-3) failed to reach at least 10 victories.
* Dukes a Constant in CAA Tournament: JMU is the only team to qualify for the CAA Tournament every year since participation in the event has been limited to six or fewer teams. This is the 10th season for tournament qualification.
* Julien Adds to Records: Senior Corky Julien scored the game-winning goal Oct. 31 at Virginia Commonwealth to increase her school records to seven season game-winning scores and 19 career game-winners.
* Rynier in the Record Books: Junior Teresa Rynier recorded her 37th career assist in the Oct. 31 win at Virginia Commonweatlh, giving her the Dukes' career record outright. She previously shared the record of 36 with Carrie Proost (1990-94), who played in JMU's first season of soccer. She also added to her school record for assists by a junior by increasing that total to 12. Rynier had assists on all three goals in a 3-2 home win over Towson on Sept. 27, one below her school record of four assists against Xavier on Aug. 28.
* Julien Named Player of the Week : Senior Corky Julien was selected CAA Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 1. She scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the Dukes' 4-0 win at Virginia Commonwealth on Oct. 31. She also had an assist in the match. Julien earned her third CAA Player of the Week honor of the 2009 season.
* Dukes in the National Stats:In the latest NCAA National Statistics (games through Nov. 1), junior Teresa Rynier is sixth in assist average (0.63) and senior Corky Julien is 19th in goals average (0.737) and 31st in points average (1.63). Rynier's school-record four-assist game vs. Xavier on Aug. 28 ties for the single-game high in NCAA Division I this fall. Mariah Johnston of Denver, Santoria Lunsford of Mississippi Valley and Kendyl Mygatt of Mississippi also had four-assist games this season.

* Julien to Train with Canada National Team: Senior Corky Julien has been invited to participate in the Canada national team training camp, scheduled for Nov. 3-14 in Sunrise, Fla. Julien was a starter for Canada in the Cyprus Cup in March and was on Canada's National Team roster for three international games in May and July. She is among 22 players invited to the training camp.
