HARRISONBURG, Va., Nov. 2, 2009 -- James Madison women's soccer player Corky Julien (Williamstown, Ontario/Char-Lan District) has been selected Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 1.
The senior forward scored two goals, including the game-winner, in the Dukes' 4-0 win at Virginia Commonwealth on Oct. 31. She also had an assist in the match.
Julien increased her school career-record total of game-winning goals to 19 and her season record to seven.
She also moved into second place on JMU's career points list with 102 points, passing Therese Wolden's (1995-98) 101. Julien is only the third player in school history with 100 or more career points.
Julien earned her third CAA Player of the Week honor of the 2009 season.
