Department Description:

Our business operations are professionally managed. We have clearly defined policies and procedures that are the JMU Athletics “way” of doing business. We are financially sound. Our first priority is the financial viability of our entire program. We strive to use our money wisely.


Practicum and internship students can expect to work with multiple financial aspects within the Athletic Department. Responsibilities include processing business expenses, involvement with budget management and forecasting, utilizing the procurement purchasing process, and more.
