HARRISONBURG, Va., Feb. 3, 2014 – The James Madison women’s basketball squad received three votes in this week’s Associated Press Top-25 poll.
This is the first time this season the Dukes have received multiple votes from media members in the weekly poll. They opened the season receiving one vote in the preseason poll and one vote in each of the first four weeks of the 2013-14 AP poll.
JMU is currently on a six-game win-streak and is 6-0 in Colonial Athletic Association play. The Dukes have won their CAA games by an average of 27.3 points per game compared and boast a +17.7 scoring margin overall (16-4 record).
CAA play continues for the Dukes with three games in six days, beginning with a road trip to William & Mary on Tuesday, February 3. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. at Kaplan Arena in Williamsburg, Va.
