 Game Notes

  • The Dukes are 6-0 in league play, their best start in CAA action since a 15-0 run to start the 2006-07 league slate.  The six-game win streak is the longest of the season and the longest since an eight-game winning-stretch Jan. 13 - Feb. 7, 2013.
  • JMU has won its games against league opponents by an average of 27.3 points and have trailed in those six games (240 minutes) by a combined 11 minutes, 43 seconds – less than five percent of the time in CAA games.  In those league games, the Dukes are shooting 44.7 percent from the floor, including 42.5 percent from beyond the arc.
  • The Tribe has won two of its last three games after a six-game-losing streak.  On Sunday, Feb. 2, William & Mary posted an 81-76 victory over Charleston at home to move to 2-5 in CAA play and 5-14 overall.
  • Overall, William & Mary is averaging 60.4 points per game while allowing 70.9 points per game.  They also hold a -12.5 rebound margin over opponents.

 Game Notes:

  • The Dukes are coming off an 81-79 loss at home to William & Mary. The Dukes battled back from multiple double-digit deficits and had a shot attempt at the buzzer with the chance to tie the game.
  • Sophomore guard Ron Curry dished out a career-high nine assists against the Tribe. As a team, the Dukes registered a season-high 16 assists.
  • Graduate forward Andrey Semenov tallied a season-high 23 points in the loss. He made five of his eight 3-point attempts.
  • Jerrelle Benimon leads the Tigers in both scoring (18.6 ppg) and rebounding (11.3 rpg).
