 Game Notes:

  • The Dukes compete for a bid to the NCAA DI Championship meet (Nov. 23), as the top two teams in each region automatically advance to the national championship.  In the latest USTFCCCA poll, Virginia and William & Mary are the top-two teams in the southeast.
  • The top four individual finishers not on an AQ team also advance to the national meet so long as they are in the top 25 overall at the regional meet.
  • This year’s racing team looks quite different from last year’s as four of the seven starters in 2012 graduated last year.  Sophomore Jenna Flickinger and juniors Kristen Landry and Rachel Hagen are the only runners competing with experience in the event.
