SCOUTING FORDHAM
The Rams sit at 26-8 overall and finished the regular season 22-7 to enter the Atlantic-10 tournament as the No. 3 seed.  Fordham advanced to the A-10 championship game where the Rams fell 47-46 to No. 4-seed St. Joseph’s.

Fordham advanced to the WNIT Round of 16 following a 58-44 victory over Boston University on March 23.  On March 21, the Rams defeated Army 55-46 in the opening round.  Both games were played on Fordham’s home court.
Redshirt senior forward Marah Strickland is atop the lineup with 14.8 points per game off of 35.1 percent shooting from the floor.  She is sinking 33.0 percent of her 3-point shot attempts as well as 85.6-percent of her free throw attempts.
Freshman forward Samantha Clark sinks 46.2 percent of her field goal attempts to lead Fordham and has also committed 49 blocks this season, more than the rest of the lineup combined.  Junior guard Abigail Corning leads with 7.1 rebounds per game and is contributing 8.8 points per game.
The Rams are committing 7.1 steals per game, thanks in large part to senior guard Arielle Collins (2.3) and redshirt junior guard Erin Rooney (1.8).  Collins is tops in minutes played (37.2 mpg) and is averaging 9.0 points and 4.4 rebounds.  Rooney leads the team in assists (3.7) and is second in points (13.8).
Fordham does not go to the bench much as the five starters average between 30.7 and 37.2 minutes per outing.  As a team, the Rams are outscoring opponents by +6.9 points (58.6 to 51.6) and are dropping 5.9 3-pointers per game. 


JMU FAST BREAK
JMU finished the regular season 22-10 with a 15-3 record in Colonial Athletic Association play.  The Dukes were the No. 2 seed heading into the conference tournament and fell 50-34 to No. 3 Drexel in the semifinal round.
The Dukes advanced to the WNIT Round of 16 after defeating North Carolina State 72-66 on March 24.  JMU is now 15-0 in postseason competition when playing at home.

Senior guard Tarik Hislop posted a game-high 19 points against the Wolfpack, shooting 57.1 percent from the floor over 35 minutes.  This season, she has averaged 16.3 points per game on 35.9 percent shooting.
Junior guard Kirby Burkholder grabbed a game-high nine rebounds on Sunday, right at her season average of 9.1 boards per game.  It was the ninth time in the last 10 games she has led JMU in rebounds.  She also dropped 14 points on N.C. State, just behind sophomore forward Toia Giggetts, who posted 16 points. 

Freshman guard Angela Mickens posted double-digit points for just the second time of her career against the Wolfpack when she put 10 on the board, including four from the charity stripe.  She also committed a game-high three steals on March 24.  Since the WNIT started, Mickens has averaged 10.0 points on 53.8 percent shooting, 1.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.0 steals over 26 minutes per game.
