HARRISONBURG, Va., March 21, 2012 - March Madness and Madison Madness continues as the James Madison women's basketball team hosts South Florida in a round of 16 game in the Women's National Invitation Tournament Friday night (7 p.m.) at the JMU Convocation Center.
JMU enters Friday's game on the heels of a dramatic come-from-behind 84-76 overtime victory over Wake Forest Sunday at the Convo. The Dukes opened the WNIT with a 64-49 home win over Davidson 64-49 on March 15.
USF beat Florida Atlantic 76-20 in an opening round game then topped Florida International 77-61 in the second round. Both contests were home games for the Bulls.
Friday's JMU-USF winner plays the winner of Thursday's third-round game between Virginia and Appalachian State. Virginia hosts that third-round contest, which has a 7 p.m. tip-off.
