VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., March 14, 2012 – Three members of the James Madison field hockey team’s incoming freshman class participated in the National Indoor Tournament in Virginia Beach, Va., March 2-4. The participating future Dukes were Bailee Hubert (Stafford, Va./Mountain View), Erin Gallivan (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford) and Kristen Reitano (Virginia Beach, Va./Princess Anne). 

The tournament pitted the top 30-percent of all indoor teams that applied. In order to participate in the national tournament teams need to compete in an indoor qualifiers held from December 18 to February 5. 

Each of the qualifying clubs played seven games in one of the tournament’s 15 pools. Hubert played for the club team NOVA Elite in the Pool A while Gallivan and High Voltage Gold played in Pool G. Reitano’s club team, the Saints Gold, played in Pool E.
