HARRISONBURG, Va., March 8, 2011 -- The James Madison women's basketball team has won the last two Colonial Athletic Association championships. Can the Dukes three-peat?
JMU, the tournament's number two seed, will take its first step toward a possible third CAA title Friday (March 9) when the Dukes play in a 5 p.m. quarterfinal game at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md.
The Dukes face number seven seed George Mason, a 70-60 winner over 10th-seeded Northeastern in a first-round game Thursday.
