WOMEN: 11:00 a.m./5,200 meters
COURSE: Mostly grass-some small gravel, challenging, long stretches, very open
ENTRY: Please email completed entries to Head Coach David Rinker by noon on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at rinkerld@jmu.edu. The email will be bounced back to you for verification of receipt. There are unlimited entries in each race.
ENTRY FEE: $50.00 per College Team
$100.00 per combined College Men's & College Women's Teams
$10.00 per Open Athlete or College Individual
$50.00 per Open Team
COURSE INSPECTION: Friday, Sept. 14 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m.; On Saturday, Sept. 15, the course will open at 8:00 a.m. for inspection and will be open until the races begin.
DIRECTIONS: Off Interstate 81 - Exit 264
If coming from the north, take a right at the end of the ramp.
If coming from the south, take a left at the end of the ramp.
Take your first right onto George Collin Parkway, and follow it until it ends at the gate for the New Market Battlefield.
Instead of turning left and going to the Battlefield Museum, take a sharp right after entering the gate. Then follow the road until it dead-ends at a parking area. The starting area is in the adjacent field.
