As a senior:

  • Voted as recipient of JMU's Golden Glove award
  • Ranked seventh in the CAA with nine sacrifice bunts
  • During the 30-game CAA league schedule, ranked fourth with six bunts and eighth with 10 steals
  • Moved into eighth on the JMU season charts with nine sacrifice hits
  • Two singles, walk and two RBIs in JMU win over Longwood
  • Six hits with a double, triple, two walks and a steal in Bucknell series
  • 3-for-4 with a run, RBI and two steals in Lafayette opener
  • Extended to career-best seven-game hitting streak going 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a steal. Triple in ninth led to scoring tying run to rally past Lafayette
  • 4-for-7 with three RBIs over final two games of UNCW series
  • 7-for-14 at the plate and 5-for-5 on steals in Georgia State series, including career highs of three runs, four hits and a tying three steals in Sunday's finale

Why did you choose JMU?
Because Harrisonburg has the most beautiful nights.

What is your major, and why did you choose it?
Sports Management because I wanted to be in classes with all my friends.

What are your hobbies outside of baseball?
Long walks through the Arboretum.

Do you have a nickname on the team? How did it come about?
I have a few nick names, "Triggz," given by the All- American Matt Townsend, and "Squeeks" from the baseketball character.

What are your goals for the season and what motivates you to reach them?
Goal is to make it to a Regional.

Do you have any unique talents or skills?
I am a pretty good dancer.

If you could hang out with one MLB player for a day who would it be and why?
Ken Griffey Jr. He is my all time favorite player and would have been the greatest if he didn't face injury.

If you could be on one reality or game show what would it be?
Any cooking show, I enjoy preparing food.

What is your favorite memory of JMU baseball thus far?
Brett Garners walk off home run against Wilmington.

What team do you want to beat more than any other?

Where is your favorite place to play other then at JMU?

What is your favorite memory at JMU outside of baseball?
Just hanging out with the guys, it's always a great time.

Bradley Shaban is most and Turner Phelps is tied with Evan Scott for worst.
