Getting to know Amy...

Why did you choose JMU?
I love the area. Also, the team and academics were a good match for me

What is your major/minor and why did you choose it?
IDLS, Middle School Education (math and science): I chose it because I want to make a difference in students' lives and make sure they are prepared for the future

What are your goals for the 2010 season?
Get back to the CAA Championship and win. Go on to the NCAA tournament!

What are your favorite things to do off the field?
I like to hang out with friends, cook, and sleep

What is your favorite JMU field hockey moment?
My entire sophomore year: we had a great team and won our 3rd straight CAA championship

What is the best class you have taken at JMU?
The best class I have taken at JMU was PSYC 160 with Dr. Duvall-Early

Where is your favorite place you have visited and where would you like to visit?
My favorite place I visited was New Orleans, LA for Junior Olympics and I would like to visit Europe

What do you want to do after college?
I would like to teach at a middle school, coach at a high school, and eventually start my own field hockey club

Where is your favorite place to eat on campus at JMU?
Mrs. Greens

What is your dream job?
Being a sports announcer for the Pittsburgh Penguins

What do you like about Harrisonburg?
The variety of places to eat
